On Monday evening, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the winners of its prestigious annual awards, honoring the best of African football.
Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman took home the top prize, claiming the 2024 CAF African Player of the Year award. Zambia’s Barbra Banda was crowned Women’s Player of the Year, while Nigeria’s women’s national team was named Women’s National Team of the Year.
