About the role
Speechify is currently seeking a Software Engineer (Platform) to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s technological foundation.
The successful candidate will build and enhance systems that support payments, subscriptions, analytics, and text-to-speech APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust backend APIs, including TTS, Payment, Auth, Subscription, and Analytics systems.
- Optimize backend architecture for scalability, speed, and reliability.
- Collaborate on B2B integrations and custom enterprise solutions.
- Work cross-functionally to align backend systems with product strategy.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience with TypeScript and Node.js.

Remote Entry-Level UX Research Apprenticeship at UX Woman
Each year, UX Woman sponsors two remote UX apprentices to participate in a seven-month hands-on program, offered in either the fall or spring, completely free of charge.
Participants receive one-on-one mentorship, lead their own startup project, and graduate fully equipped to secure roles paying between $85,000 and $130,000 in UX design, research, or product strategy.
More than an apprenticeship, this program serves as a launchpad for women, immigrants, people of color, and LGBTQ+ creatives who aspire to help build a world designed by women, for women.
