Egyptian logistics startup Mylerz has secured more than US$2 million in fresh debt and equity funding as it doubles down on expanding its logistics infrastructure, strengthening its technology platform, and enhancing its fulfilment capabilities across Egypt.

The new investment comes at a time when e-commerce continues to gain momentum across the country, increasing demand for reliable, technology-driven logistics services.

The funding round, led by Lorax Capital Partners with participation from Fawry and a group of existing investors, reflects growing investor confidence in the company’s ability to meet the evolving needs of merchants and consumers.

For Mylerz, the latest capital injection is expected to accelerate its nationwide expansion while reinforcing its position as one of Egypt’s emerging players in the e-commerce logistics ecosystem.

What is Mylerz and What Does It Do?

Founded in 2019 by entrepreneur Samer Gharaibeh, Mylerz is an Egyptian logistics technology startup that provides comprehensive e-commerce logistics solutions for businesses of different sizes.

Not only offering delivery services, the company manages the entire logistics value chain, from warehousing and order fulfilment to last-mile delivery, through a proprietary technology platform.

Its end-to-end approach enables online merchants to store inventory, process customer orders, monitor shipments in real time, and efficiently manage logistics operations from a single digital platform.

By integrating technology into every stage of the delivery process, Mylerz helps businesses reduce operational complexity while improving delivery speed and customer satisfaction.

The startup has particularly positioned itself as a logistics partner for e-commerce businesses that require dependable same-day and next-day delivery services, an increasingly important competitive advantage in today’s online retail market.

Fresh Funding Signals Strong Investor Confidence

The latest funding round combines both debt and equity financing, providing Mylerz with additional financial flexibility to execute its growth strategy.

The investment was led by Lorax Capital Partners and attracted participation from digital payments giant Fawry alongside several existing investors that have continued to back the company.

The participation of previous investors is often viewed as a strong endorsement of a startup’s business model and long-term prospects, suggesting confidence in Mylerz’s operational performance and future expansion plans.

The latest investment follows the company’s significantly larger US$9.6 million funding round in 2022, demonstrating continued financial support as the startup scales its operations within Egypt.

Expanding Logistics Infrastructure Across Egypt

According to the company, the newly raised capital will primarily support the expansion of its domestic logistics footprint.

This includes investing in fulfilment infrastructure, increasing warehouse capacity, and strengthening operational systems that allow the company to process larger shipment volumes efficiently.

The additional funding will also enable Mylerz to expand its delivery network across more locations in Egypt, helping merchants reach customers faster while improving delivery reliability.

By strengthening its logistics infrastructure, the company hopes to accommodate rising e-commerce demand and support businesses looking for dependable nationwide delivery services.

Investing in Technology to Deliver Faster Services

Beyond physical infrastructure, Mylerz plans to continue investing heavily in the proprietary technology platform that powers its logistics operations.

According to the company, the fresh capital will strengthen its balance sheet and improve its working capital position, allowing it to continue enhancing the digital systems behind its fulfilment operations.

The technology platform enables merchants to manage shipments efficiently while supporting Mylerz’s promise of same-day and next-day deliveries, services that have become increasingly valuable in the competitive e-commerce industry.

By combining advanced logistics technology with expanded operational capacity, the startup aims to improve delivery speed, streamline operations, and provide merchants with greater visibility into their supply chains.

CEO Reaffirms Commitment to Egypt’s Growing E-Commerce Market

Commenting on the latest investment, founder and Chief Executive Officer Samer Gharaibeh described the funding as an important validation of the company’s long-term strategy and operational performance.

“This fresh funding is a strong vote of confidence from partners who know our business well. Egypt remains the heart of our operations, and this capital allows us to invest with conviction in the infrastructure, technology, and people that keep us delivering for our merchants and their customers every day,” he said.

His remarks underscore the company’s intention to keep Egypt at the centre of its growth strategy while continuing to invest in the people, technology, and logistics infrastructure required to support the country’s expanding digital economy.

Why the Funding Matters

The latest investment highlights the increasing importance of logistics infrastructure in enabling the growth of e-commerce across emerging markets.

As more consumers shift toward online shopping, merchants require logistics partners capable of handling inventory management, fulfilment, and fast deliveries at scale.

For Mylerz, the new funding provides the financial resources needed to strengthen both its physical infrastructure and digital capabilities while positioning the company for continued growth within Egypt’s rapidly evolving e-commerce ecosystem.

With investor confidence remaining strong and demand for efficient logistics services continuing to rise, Mylerz appears well positioned to play a larger role in supporting merchants and improving delivery experiences for consumers across the country.

Talking Points

Mylerz has demonstrated strong operational execution by evolving beyond a conventional delivery company into a technology-enabled logistics partner that manages fulfilment, warehousing, and last-mile delivery for e-commerce businesses.

Its ability to attract more than US$11.6 million in funding since 2022 reflects sustained investor confidence in both its business model and growth trajectory.

The company’s focus on expanding fulfilment infrastructure while simultaneously investing in proprietary technology is a strategic move that addresses two critical challenges in e-commerce: speed and reliability.

However, securing fresh capital is only the beginning. The real measure of success will be how effectively Mylerz converts these investments into scalable operations, maintains service quality as shipment volumes grow, and competes in an increasingly crowded logistics market.

If it can consistently deliver on its same-day and next-day delivery promise while improving operational efficiency, the startup will strengthen its competitive advantage and play a significant role in accelerating Egypt’s digital commerce ecosystem.
