In a world where online education is rapidly expanding, one Nigerian startup is taking bold steps to ensure Africa is not left behind. ETC Vibes, an AI-powered Learning Management System (LMS), is tackling fragmented, outdated, and poorly structured online learning systems in Africa.
Founded by Oyekunle Isaac, a software developer and edtech innovator, ETC Vibes is built to connect learning, teaching, and earning in one intelligent ecosystem.
In this edition of Techparley’s DRIVE100, where we spotlight Africa’s most promising and impactful startups, we turn our attention to how ETC Vibes is redefining learning, teaching, and earning, through an AI-powered education ecosystem built for the African learner.
“ETC Vibes is an AI-powered Learning Management System (LMS) that bridges the gap between learning, teaching, and earning. We solve the problem of fragmented and outdated educational delivery for individuals, tutors, and organizations,” Isaac told Techparley.
What This Means
While global platforms like Teachable and LearnWorlds have gained significant traction, Isaac believes ETC Vibes is uniquely positioned to serve African learners and educators better.
Unlike traditional LMS platforms, ETC Vibes combines AI-driven personalisation, automated certification, and a marketplace where users can learn, teach, and earn, all within a single ecosystem.
Its unique value proposition, as Isaac puts it, is “empowering individuals and organisations to turn knowledge into opportunity.”
Beyond its technological edge, ETC Vibes also emphasises local affordability and contextual relevance, ensuring that African institutions and learners can access world-class education tools without prohibitive costs.
What You Should Know
ETC Vibes functions as an intelligent platform that allows users to create, host, and manage courses, conduct assessments, issue certificates, and monetise educational content seamlessly.
Some of its most compelling features include:
- AI-powered learning assistance that delivers personalised study recommendations.
- Automated certification systems for both institutions and individual tutors.
- Dedicated dashboards for tutors and organisations to manage courses and learners.

Milestones and Early Traction
Since its inception, Isaac said ETC Vibes has achieved key milestones that signal its growing impact.
The startup has successfully onboarded institutions such as LSC Mowe (Adullam Skill Acquisition Programme 2.0)and now serves nearly 1,000 active learners alongside several tutors.
Major product achievements include:
- The launch of its certificate automation feature (2025).
- Deployment of its AI study assistant.
- Full integration of course creation and payment systems.
- Securing the TOF Grant in 2024, a recognition of its innovation in education technology.
The Team Behind the Vision
ETC Vibes is powered by a small but highly focused team with complementary expertise.
- Oyekunle Isaac (Founder & CEO) – A software developer and edtech enthusiast leading the product vision and technology direction.
- Funmi Ige (Product Manager) – A specialist in digital education systems and curriculum design, ensuring that user experience meets pedagogical standards.
- Femi Oshikoya (Partner) – Responsible for partnerships and institutional adoption, building bridges with educational bodies.
- Wemimo (Finance Lead) – Oversees the company’s financial systems and scalability strategy.
Together, Isaac notes they represent a blend of technical, educational, and business acumen uniquely suited to address Africa’s evolving edtech landscape.
Overcoming Challenges in a Changing Market
For Isaac, one of the toughest hurdles so far has been market awareness.
“Many institutions are still adapting to the idea of full digital learning,” he notes. “It’s not just about technology — it’s about changing mindsets.”
To overcome this, ETC Vibes is running targeted marketing campaigns, offering demo onboarding sessions for schools, and establishing partnerships with local academic organisations.
These efforts, he believes, will accelerate adoption and strengthen trust among stakeholders in education and training.
A Vision for the Next Five Years
ETC Vibes has set ambitious but clear goals. In the next 12 months, the startup aims to onboard 50+ institutions and 10,000 learners, launch its mobile app, and expand certification partnerships with accredited bodies.
Over the next 2–3 years, it hopes to become Africa’s leading AI-powered LMS, introducing language localisation to support multiple African markets.
By 2029, ETC Vibes envisions powering one million learners globally with AI-driven learning and certification systems.
“Our goal is not just to build another platform,” Isaac emphasises, “but to create a movement that connects education with opportunity.”
Government, AI, and the Future of Africa’s Tech Ecosystem
When asked about the government’s role in enabling startups like ETC Vibes, Isaac said the government can help by creating a structured digital innovation ecosystem, including grants, tax incentives, and incubation spaces for tech startups.
If he were Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Isaac says he would prioritise state-backed cloud infrastructure and AI education grants to lower technical costs and retain tech talent locally. Isaac also believes that Venture Capitalists must look beyond chequebooks.
With the global edtech and smart classroom market size projected to grow from $182.51 billion in 2025 to $545.65 billion by 2032, Isaac reflects on the broader challenges facing African startups.
“Many startups struggle with poor digital infrastructure, high operational costs, and limited investor confidence,” he explains. “Africa’s talent is strong, but we need enabling systems to unlock it fully.”
With ETC Vibes, experts say Isaac is showing that with the right mix of innovation, purpose, and persistence, Africa’s next generation of learning platforms can compete, and lead on the global stage.
Talking Points
It is impressive that ETC Vibes has built an AI-powered learning ecosystem that connects learning, teaching, and earning, addressing a major gap in Africa’s education and training landscape.
This integrated approach positions ETC Vibes as a practical solution for students, tutors, and institutions struggling with fragmented online learning, difficulty tracking progress, and limited monetisation options for educators.
At Techparley, we see how platforms like this can accelerate digital transformation in education, particularly for institutions and learners outside major urban centres, bringing real value to underserved communities.
By combining AI-driven study assistance, automated certification, and a secure payment system, ETC Vibes enables educators to deliver structured, engaging, and monetisable content, while learners benefit from personalised learning journeys.
As ETC Vibes scales, there is significant opportunity in forming partnerships with local academic institutions, accreditation bodies, and professional networks. With the right strategic backing, ETC Vibes could become a cornerstone of Africa’s AI-driven education ecosystem, empowering learners and educators alike.
