A new Nigerian tech startup, Cofluenxa, has officially launched, to address long-standing inefficiencies in the influencer marketing industry, offering a technology-driven platform that connects brands directly with digital content creators.
Founded by Nigerian couple, software engineer Ganiyu Musa Babalola and content creator Bakare Nisojuoluwa Teniola, the platform is designed to streamline how influencer campaigns are managed in Nigeria’s digital economy.
Exclusively speaking with Techparley, the co-founders said the platform eliminates reliance on third-party agencies by enabling brands to discover, connect, and collaborate with influencers directly.
“We built Cofluenxa as a platform that makes influencer marketing easier, faster, and more accessible for everyone,” Babalola told Techparley.
What This Means
According to the founders, traditional influencer marketing methods have proven costly, unreliable, and inaccessible for many small businesses and emerging creators.
Cofluenxa is positioning itself as a bridge between brands seeking cost-effective, impactful campaigns and creators, especially micro-influencers seeking visibility and income.
“We’re creating a space where micro-influencers can grow, get paid, and build their careers,” said Babalola. “For small brands, it means affordable access to real creators they can trust. We’re simplifying the entire experience so both sides can thrive.”
Understanding the Problem Cofluenxa Solves
According to the founders, the idea for Cofluenxa originated from frustrations on opposite sides of the ecosystem. Teniola, despite having strong editing and content creation skills, found it difficult to secure partnerships. Babalola, on the other hand, was struggling with campaign delays and inflated fees while working with influencer agencies.
“We were both frustrated for opposite reasons,” Babalola explained. “That’s when we realized the system wasn’t working for creators or brands. We decided to solve it together and built Cofluenxa as a platform that makes influencer marketing easier, faster, and more accessible for everyone.”
The platform also addresses recurring operational inefficiencies such as late deliverables, unfulfilled briefs, and lack of accountability among influencers.
“Sometimes creators would collect payment and then disappear,” Babalola said. “Briefs got ignored, and agencies charged too much without real results.”
The Competition and Market Landscape
Globally, influencer marketing has grown into a multi-billion-dollar sector, with market size reaching $30 billion in 2025, according to Statista.
In Africa, the industry is less structured but rapidly expanding. Nigeria, home to over 33 million active social media users, represents a key growth frontier for influencer-driven commerce.
Platforms like Plaqad, Trendupp, and Rytar are leading the surge, however, Cofluenxa enters the market with a self-serve model and a focus on micro and mid-tier creators, differentiating itself by lowering the barrier to entry for smaller players.
About Cofluenxa
Cofluenxa is an influencer marketing platform designed to connect brands with content creators in a fast, secure, and affordable way.
The startup says its mission is to democratise influencer marketing by creating a scalable digital infrastructure that supports creators of all sizes while helping businesses grow without overspending.
Cofluenxa is now live and accepting both brand signups and influencer registrations via its platform.
Talking Points
Cofluenxa’s launch marks a refreshing and timely innovation in Nigeria’s digital economy, bringing structure, transparency, and inclusivity to the fast-growing influencer marketing industry.
By allowing brands to connect directly with influencers, without the friction of third-party agencies, the platform empowers both sides to collaborate more efficiently, save costs, and launch campaigns faster.
At Techparley, we’re encouraged by Cofluenxa’s clear focus on micro and mid-tier creators. This lowers the barrier to entry and opens up real earning opportunities for thousands of talented individuals across Nigeria, many of whom remain underrepresented in traditional agency rosters.
The platform’s algorithm, built to prioritise fit, engagement, and campaign relevance over vanity metrics, introduces a smarter, more inclusive way of matching brands with the right creators. This kind of thoughtful technology is exactly what Nigeria’s digital marketing ecosystem needs.
Cofluenxa is also a win for small businesses. With limited budgets and big ambitions, they can now run targeted influencer campaigns that are both affordable and measurable, unlocking digital growth without breaking the bank.
As adoption increases, we see Cofluenxa becoming not just a matchmaking platform, but a vital part of Nigeria’s wider creator economy infrastructure, one that can help nurture a new class of digital entrepreneurs.
