UAE-founded property technology company Huspy has entered the Italian market after acquiring credit intermediary Integra Finance, as the company moves to strengthen its mortgage finance and real estate operations across Europe.
Although the financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, Huspy said it plans to invest $86 million (AED315 million) in Italy as part of a broader strategy to build a major operator in the country’s mortgage and property sector.
The acquisition gives Huspy access to Integra Finance’s established network of more than 160 advisors and over 50 banking, financial and insurance partners.
Jad Antoun, Huspy’s co-founder and CEO, said the company is “doubling down on Europe” and described Italy as “central to our next phase of growth.”
The transaction represents Huspy’s fourth geographical market and its fifth acquisition in credit intermediation.
What to Know About Huspy
Founded in Dubai in 2020 by Jad Antoun and Ziad Nassar, Huspy is a property technology company developing AI-powered technology, services and operating systems for real estate agents and mortgage professionals.
Rather than functioning solely as a conventional real estate company, Huspy is attempting to use artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure to connect different parts of the home-buying and financing process.
The company currently operates across 15 cities in the United Arab Emirates, Spain, Saudi Arabia and, following the Integra Finance acquisition, Italy. Its broader ambition is to build what it describes as the largest home-buying platform in the Middle East and Europe.
Huspy’s technology is designed to help property professionals manage their activities more efficiently while improving the experience of customers buying, selling or financing homes.
Its entry into Italy therefore represents both a geographical expansion and an attempt to extend its technology-driven operating model into another major European property market.
What is Integra Finance?
Integra Finance is an Italian credit intermediation company that helps individuals, professionals and businesses access different forms of financing.
Founded in 2020, the company operates across mortgages, personal loans, corporate financing, salary- and pension-backed loans. It has built a network of more than 160 advisors and partnerships with over 50 banking, financial and insurance institutions.
This network gives Integra Finance an established presence within Italy’s financial services ecosystem and provides Huspy with local expertise that would otherwise take significant time and resources to develop.
Integra also operates in both the business-to-consumer and business-to-business segments, allowing it to serve individual customers as well as businesses seeking financing.
Its services extend beyond lending, with insurance services offered through its subsidiary, Bicher.
For Huspy, acquiring Integra therefore provides access not only to a functioning financial intermediary but also to a sizeable professional network and established relationships with financial institutions.
Why Huspy is Investing $86 Million in Italy
The acquisition forms the first major step in Huspy’s broader Italian strategy, with the company planning to invest $86 million in the country.
The investment is intended to support the development of its mortgage finance and real estate operations and help establish a significant presence in Italy.
Huspy sees an opportunity in Italy’s extensive network of real estate agents, mortgage professionals and other property-sector participants, particularly as technology gradually becomes more integrated into the industry.
The company plans to introduce its AI-powered platform and operating systems to existing market participants while combining them with the local expertise already established by Integra Finance.
Huspy co-founder and CEO Jad Antoun said, “By combining this expertise and market presence with our AI-native technology and systems, we aim to accelerate Integra’s growth and help transform the way real estate agents, credit advisors and clients experience the process of buying, selling and financing a home.”
The strategy therefore goes beyond simply acquiring an Italian company; it involves using technology and capital to scale the acquired business.
How the Acquisition Fits Huspy’s Expansion Strategy
The Integra Finance transaction follows a pattern Huspy has already used in other markets. Instead of entering every market by building an entirely new operation, the company has increasingly used acquisitions to obtain established businesses, local expertise, professional networks and existing market relationships.
Huspy previously acquired Home Matters in the UAE in 2021 and Mortgage Direct in Spain in 2023, among other transactions in the credit intermediation sector. According to the company, the Integra deal is its fifth acquisition in that sector.
Ziad Nassar, Huspy’s co-founder and deputy CEO, said the company could draw on a “proven model” that had already been applied to previous acquisitions.
This approach allows Huspy to combine the infrastructure of existing businesses with its own technology, investment capacity and operating model.
In Italy, Integra’s established advisor and banking network provides the local foundation, while Huspy intends to introduce the technology and systems it has developed across its other markets.
Huspy’s AI Ambition for the Property Market
At the centre of Huspy’s strategy is its attempt to make the traditionally complex home-buying and financing process more technology-driven.
Buying a home can involve property agents, mortgage advisors, banks, insurers, lawyers and customers, with each participant handling different documents, processes and transactions.
Huspy wants its AI-native technology and operating systems to simplify some of these processes and improve efficiency for professionals and customers.
In practical terms, the company’s technology can support the professionals involved in property transactions by helping them manage customers, information and administrative processes more efficiently.
The company also wants to create more opportunities for real estate agents and credit advisors while improving the experience of people seeking to buy and finance homes.
The Italian expansion gives Huspy an opportunity to test and scale this model in another major European market. Integra’s existing infrastructure could provide the human and institutional network required for Huspy’s technology to gain a foothold in the country.
What this Expansion Means for Huspy’s Future
The Italian acquisition is part of a larger expansion programme that Huspy plans to pursue across Europe and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region during 2026 and 2027.
The company intends to develop its Italian operations while continuing to strengthen its presence in Spain, the UAE and Saudi Arabia and entering additional markets.
For Huspy, Italy represents more than a new geographical location; it provides another opportunity to build an integrated platform linking real estate professionals, credit advisors, financial institutions and home buyers through technology.
The company also points to the broader economic relationship between Italy and the UAE, with Nassar referencing the UAE’s $40 billion investment commitment announced in February 2025 during Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s visit to Italy.
As Huspy scales its acquisition-led strategy, its central challenge will be integrating established local businesses and regulatory environments while maintaining the technological efficiency that underpins its model.
Its Italian expansion will therefore be an important test of whether its approach can be successfully replicated across diverse international property and financial markets.
