Founded in 2016 by Khaled Attallah and Shahir Arslan, the startup collaborates with artisans worldwide to curate modern, design-led home décor products.
Attallah, who previously held sales and marketing roles at companies like Procter & Gamble, brings extensive industry experience. Meanwhile, his co-founder, Arslan, has a background in consultancy, having worked in both Egypt and Qatar.
The company’s export division now accounts for more than 15% of its revenue, accounted for by partnerships with major real estate developers and industry leaders across the region.
Ariika recently secured $3 million in a Series A extension round to fuel its expansion plans. This follows an earlier Series A investment in 2023, when Beltone Venture Capital acquired a 20% stake in the company.
Already operating in Baghdad, Iraq, the company is set to open a new store in Saudi Arabia by January 2025, as part of its regional growth strategy.
Speaking on the efforts put in place to achieve great results, Attallah said:
“With our relentless focus on compelling products, customer service, and profitable growth, we continue to outperform our peers and distinguish ourselves as one of the fastest-growing digital-first, design-led home brands in the region,”
“Our strategy is to develop innovative products, build deep connections with our consumers, and deliver a superior online and offline experience. We are a value-driven brand focused on people, customers, quality, and profits.” he added
Ariika’s ambitious expansion reiterates its growing influence in the Middle East’s booming e-commerce and home décor market.
