Canada in a glance
Canada is a country in North America. Its ten provinces and three territories extend from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and northward into the Arctic Ocean, covering over 9.98 million square kilometres, making it the world’s second-largest country by total area.

The country is open to immigrants and its people are friendly. Many consider Canada as a land of fulfilled promise as there is enough job opportunities for people to benefit from. Many relocate to Canada via the government’s Express Entry program.
What is Express Entry?
Express Entry is an electronic system used to manage the applications of skilled workers who wish to become permanent residents of Canada by the Canadian immigration authority, IRCC.

Candidates receive a Comprehensive Ranking System score based on their human capital characteristics such as age, education, language skills, and work experience.
Approximately every two weeks, IRCC invites the highest-scoring candidates to apply for permanent residence.
Those invited for permanent residence have 60 days to submit their applications to IRCC. IRCC aims to process most applications within 6 months or less.
