Saudi Arabia-based e-commerce artificial intelligence startup Revora has successfully raised a $2 million seed funding round, marking a major milestone in its evolution from a conversational commerce tool into a full-scale AI operating platform for online merchants.
The round was co-led by i2i Ventures and Oraseya Capital, with participation from Anchorless Bangladesh, Conjunction Capital, F6 Ventures, Hi2 Global, Orbit Startups, and several strategic angel investors, including Salman Butt, co-founder of Salla.
The development also comes with a significant rebrand, as the company transitions from its former identity, MyAlice, to Revora, signaling a broader strategic shift in its vision for the future of digital commerce.
According to the company, Revora is building what it describes as an “AI-native e-commerce operating platform” designed to help merchants automate product recommendations, recover abandoned shopping carts, process payments directly within conversations, and structure product catalogues for AI-powered discovery.
Founded in 2021 by Shuvo Rahman and Daniyal Baig, the startup has expanded its operations to more than 21 countries, reporting a remarkable ten-fold revenue growth after shifting its strategic focus toward Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region in late 2024.
With fresh capital in hand, Revora says it will accelerate its regional expansion while continuing to refine its AI systems for the next generation of commerce.
MyAlice to Revora: A Strategic Rebrand Toward AI Commerce
The transition from MyAlice to Revora reflects more than a name change; it signals a deep repositioning of the company’s mission. Initially built as a conversational commerce and messaging support tool, the startup has now moved toward becoming a fully integrated AI system for online selling.
In its own framing, the company stated it is now focused on “AI agents that close the sale in conversation, built on a structured product catalog designed for how customers will discover and buy.”
This shift highlights a broader industry trend where traditional e-commerce interfaces are gradually being replaced by conversational and AI-powered shopping experiences.
Rather than relying on multiple disconnected tools for marketing, customer engagement, and sales processing, Revora is betting on consolidation.
Its leadership argues that the future belongs to merchants who adopt intelligent systems capable of handling the entire customer journey, from discovery to payment, within a single conversational interface.
How Revora’s AI Agents Are Changing Online Selling
At the core of Revora’s platform are AI agents designed to replicate and enhance the role of human sales assistants. These agents engage customers directly on platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and merchant websites, offering personalized product recommendations, recovering abandoned carts, and even completing payments without requiring users to leave the conversation.
The company describes its technology as one that addresses the most critical point in the sales funnel, closing the deal. Its system not only responds to customer queries but actively drives purchases by understanding intent and guiding users toward conversion in real time.
Revora also emphasizes the importance of structured product data. By converting merchant catalogues into clean, machine-readable formats, the platform enables AI systems to better understand, recommend, and surface products.
This structured approach is central to Revora’s long-term vision of a global “commerce graph,” where AI systems can seamlessly match customers with products across markets.
The company reports that merchants using its AI-driven sales system have recorded 15–20% increases in revenue, demonstrating early commercial traction for its model.
As co-founder Daniyal Baig explained, “The signal that matters most to us isn’t the funding. It’s that merchants using Revora are generating real revenue from it.”
Rapid Expansion Across 21+ Countries and Strong GCC Growth
Revora’s growth trajectory has accelerated significantly in recent years. The startup currently operates in over 21 countries, but its most notable expansion has taken place in Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC region, where it has recorded its strongest performance.
Following a strategic refocus in late 2024, the company reported a ten-fold increase in revenue, a milestone it attributes to deeper market alignment and growing demand for AI-driven commerce tools in the region.
Saudi Arabia, in particular, has emerged as its fastest-growing market, prompting the company to channel the majority of its new funding toward further expansion there.
With the new capital injection, Revora plans to strengthen its regional presence, enhance its AI infrastructure, and build systems designed for a future where AI plays a central role in how consumers shop and interact with brands.
Founders, Investor Confidence, and the Bigger Vision
Revora was co-founded by Shuvo Rahman and Daniyal Baig, who bring complementary experience in technology, business leadership, and emerging market operations.
Rahman previously founded agritech startup iFarmer, which provided financing, advisory, and market access solutions for smallholder farmers. Baig, on the other hand, has over a decade of experience across the MENA region, including leadership roles in media and fintech, and previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Forbes Middle East.
Their combined experience has shaped Revora’s focus on solving real operational challenges for merchants in emerging markets, particularly those struggling with fragmented tools and inefficient sales systems.
Investor confidence in the company has been strong. Backers describe Revora as a product with both immediate utility and long-term scalability.
One investor noted, “They have built a product that cuts through the AI noise with tangible value today.” Another highlighted the company’s early traction, adding that the team has been generating “real revenue from agentic AI in the Middle East.”
This support reflects a broader belief that AI-powered commerce is not a distant future concept, but an immediate transformation already reshaping how businesses sell and how consumers buy.
Talking Points
Revora’s $2 million funding round and strategic rebrand mark a pivotal moment in its evolution from a messaging-focused tool to a comprehensive AI commerce infrastructure provider.
By combining conversational AI, structured product data, and automated sales capabilities, the startup is positioning itself at the intersection of artificial intelligence and global e-commerce transformation.
The company is built on a simple but ambitious belief that the businesses winning the next decade are the ones an AI can understand, represent, and sell for.
With strong investor backing, rapid revenue growth, and expanding operations across multiple regions, Revora’s bet that, the future of online shopping will not be navigated through websites or apps alone, but through intelligent conversations that sell, deserves commendation.
