The Israeli military has confirmed a series of rocket launches from Lebanon, with multiple projectiles entering the Upper Galilee region.
Report has it that some rockets were successfully intercepted by Israel’s defense systems while others landed in open areas, causing no casualties.
In response, Israel was reported to have released aerial footage showcasing airstrikes on Hezbollah installations in southern Lebanon’s Hula.
As at the time of gathering this report, the Lebanese Health Ministry, through state media, reported that the Israeli air raids resulted in one death and two injuries.
Hezbollah, in retaliation, claimed responsibility for two attacks on Israeli positions, including rocket strikes on Metula and artillery fire at another border location.
