Hi, welcome to Tech This Evening, an After-Work Tech Newsletter from Techparley Africa. Sure, there is a lot to unpack right now. Sit back, while I walk you through.

Top Story: South African Supascale Launches First GPU Cloud Marketplace to Democratise AI Computing in Africa

South African startup, Supascale, has unveiled what it describes as Africa’s first GPU cloud marketplace, introducing a platform designed to make advanced artificial intelligence (AI) computing significantly more affordable.

This enables owners of idle graphics processing units (GPUs) to generate passive income from their unused hardware.

The launch comes at a time when demand for AI infrastructure continues to accelerate worldwide, driving up computing costs and placing increasing pressure on traditional cloud providers.

Founded by Aaron Bornmann, the company says its platform also features the world’s fastest GPU onboarding process, allowing GPU owners to quickly connect their devices and begin monetising spare computing capacity.

As Bornmann explained, “The AI economy needs to be accessible to everyone, not just large hyperscalers,” adding that Supascale is building infrastructure that gives both AI users and ordinary hardware owners a stake in the rapidly expanding AI economy.

StableKlin Unveils Behavioural Intelligence Platform to Help Cleaning Businesses Spot Customer Churn Before Revenue Drops

For many service businesses, losing a loyal customer rarely happens overnight. Instead, the warning signs often emerge gradually through subtle changes in booking habits that can easily go unnoticed until revenue begins to decline.

It is this challenge that Nigerian-founded startup StableKlin is seeking to address with the launch of a behavioural intelligence platform designed to help cleaning companies identify early signs of customer disengagement.

Rather than focusing solely on operational functions such as bookings, invoices and payments, the platform analyses customer behaviour over time to detect patterns that may indicate a weakening relationship.

According to founder Dehinde Sogbanmu, the objective is to provide business owners with actionable insights before customer attrition becomes a financial problem.

“Customers rarely announce that they are leaving. More often, they start booking less frequently, delay appointments, become less predictable, or quietly drift away over time,” he explained.
