A Nigerian tech-for-future-development organization, TechGen Africa, has announced partnership with tech industry influencer, Usman Amusat, to launch a coding scholarship for Nigerian youths.

The organization made the announcement via its LinkedIn and Facebook pages, describing the opportunity as a means for students to launch “their transformative tech career through TechGen’s online coding class.”

According to TechGen, the intensive and comprehensive group class was designed “to impart the essential skills and practical experience required to excel in the rapidly expanding tech industry.”

The organization calls on eligible young Nigerians to apply for a chance to enter the TechGen network.

“The esteemed Usman Amusat, an influencer in the tech sector, has recognized the significance of TechGen Africa (TGA)  coding class and is generously sponsoring a number of students to participate in our six-month group coding program,” the statement reads. 

“This endorsement from Mr. Abiola is a testament to the exceptional training and support offered by TGA, and underscores the value and impact of our coding class.

“We invite all eligible graduates and gap year students to submit an application for this scholarship program.”
