Nigerian clean energy startup Salpha Energy has secured a $1.3 million investment from All On, a Shell-backed impact investment firm, to scale its operations and expand its product offerings.
The funding will enable the company to advance its mission of delivering dependable and affordable solar power to underserved communities across Africa.

Salpha Energy’s solar power solutions, ranging from 150Wp to 100kWp systems with battery storage and smart inverters have already reached over 2 million people, making clean energy more accessible and affordable.
“This capital raise is a huge step forward in our vision to power homes and businesses with products designed, assembled, and optimized right here on the continent,” Salpha Energy founder and CEO Sandra Chukwudozie said in a statement to POCIT.
Salpha Energy aims to address the energy access gap in Africa, where around 600 million people lack reliable access to electricity.

Founder and CEO Chukwudozie launched the company to address solar energy access issues in Nigeria and Africa’s low-income communities by providing solar solutions.
She has worked as a sustainable development consultant with the UN Industrial Development Organization. She also worked in the Office of the Director for the General Assembly and Economic and Social Council Affairs Division at the UN Headquarters.
