Hi, welcome to Tech This Evening, an After-Work Tech Newsletter from Techparley Africa. Sure, there is a lot to unpack right now. Sit back, while I walk you through.

Top Story: Paystack Unveils Small Business Programme, Offers Up to N4m in Growth Support for Nigerian SMEs.

The programme brings together a range of support initiatives designed to help entrepreneurs start, manage, and scale their businesses through discounted access to essential business tools, networking opportunities, and future funding support.

As part of the launch, Paystack introduced the Paystack Small Business Bundle, which will provide eligible Nigerian merchants with access to discounts and service credits worth up to N4 million (approximately $3,000) across multiple business categories.

According to the company, the programme is intended to support businesses “as they start, manage and grow their operations,” while also creating pathways for future business development through additional initiatives such as the Paystack Small Business Launchpad and the Paystack Small Business Grant.

Paystack stated that the bundle gives merchants access to support from “selected partners across key areas of business operations, including commerce, bookkeeping, logistics, design, workspace, customer communication, and digital tools.”

Bubble AI Targets Africa’s Career Crisis with Ambitious Plan to Become the Continent’s ‘Career Operating System’

A fast-growing African technology startup, Bubble AI, is positioning itself as a one-stop platform for career development, education support, and job placement, as it seeks to transform how millions of young Africans navigate education, skills acquisition, and employment opportunities.

Founded in 2024, the AI-powered platform has already attracted more than 13,000 users within its first seven months of operation and is now raising US$1 million to expand its technology infrastructure, grow its workforce, improve accessibility, and accelerate its expansion across key African markets.

By combining career diagnosis, personalised learning pathways, examination preparation, interview coaching, job discovery, and application automation within a single ecosystem, Bubble AI says it aims to help users move from uncertainty about their future to employment readiness.

“In practical terms, Bubble AI helps users identify stronger-fit career opportunities, understand their skill gaps, prepare through personalised learning and assessments, automate parts of the job application process, and improve their readiness for employment,” said Aloaye Collins Otsu, Head of Marketing and Growth Strategy at Bubble AI.
